Confinement requires, it’s time for comfort. We swap our too tight slims for oversized joggers that are pleasant to wear. Before this unprecedented period, these cool clothes were very often reserved for our rainy (or feverish) Sundays in front of Netflix. But it must be said that for the past few months, our weeks have strangely resembled a series of long weekends (teleworking in addition). So why bother?

Proof of this, according to the Lyst platform, global searches for the keyword “jogging” have increased by 123% compared to last year.
Because we see them everywhere… On Instagram, trendy girls have abandoned their evening dresses for cocooning outfits. Better yet, they now offer a comfortable dressing room at a low price. A few months before the announcement of the first confinement, the loungewear trend made its revolution. Fashionistas around the world opted for a relaxed gray Zara ensemble. In addition, they now prefer some cool and trendy shirts such as Steven Rhodes shirts. Gone are the days where being a fashionista only means wearing fabulous dresses, even if you’re just wearing a catchy tee paired with high-waist shorts, you’re all good to go.
Because it’s stylish… As we will have understood, comfortable clothes are the new challenge for brands. If fast fashion quickly offered cocooning outfits, luxury houses are also keeping pace. Recently, Dior launched its first capsule collection dedicated to homewear. On the program: ponchos, pajamas and cozy and ultra-chic bathrobes.

Among the delicate and comfortable materials, cotton reigns supreme. For days when the freezing temperatures of winter are felt, fleece is a good solution (much less elegant, let’s be honest).
